I was born into a creative family in Newton, Massachusetts, but at a very young age my family moved to Southeastern, Massachusetts. It was here that my love and talent for art began. My father was a phenomenal illustrator and his abilities were inspirational.

My second love is sports. I developed my athletic abilities growing up in a city neighborhood full of boys. From an early age I played on various sport teams and am still an avid athlete.

As a teen, I was fascinated with the motion of the human form and began combining my two passions by drawing and painting sports figures. My dream then was to become a sports illustrator. My high school art teacher encouraged me to pursue my goal by further developing my skills and talents. To him I am forever grateful.

Educated at Massasoit Community College and Bridgewater State College, I got exceptional training in advertising art and graphic design, though it was at Massasoit Community College I developed an eye for color.
